Rao Tianshi Leads Volunteer Recruitment Drive
As a member of the Wuhan Orphaned & Underprivileged Children Volunteer Corps, he and four classmates visited Canshan Middle School in Caidian District, bringing AI-powered learning to the classroom and using ¥10,000 of his own savings to renovate a home for a child in need.
Event Overview
Rao Tianshi is a member of the Wuhan Orphaned & Underprivileged Children Volunteer Corps. In 2025, he and four classmates visited Canshan Middle School in Wuhan's Caidian District as volunteers, delivering an innovative "AI-Assisted Learning" open class that opened the door to technology-empowered education for the students there.
In the classroom, the volunteer team presented on two topics — "How AI Can Help Us Learn" and "How AI Improves My Study Efficiency" — demonstrating real-world applications of AI in learning, from analyzing current affairs in economics to organizing mistakes and generating notes. An interactive discussion session followed, where students actively debated the pros and cons of AI and how to use it responsibly.
The same hands that opened this window of knowledge also delivered something more tangible — Rao Tianshi used ¥10,000 of his own pocket money savings to renovate and improve the living conditions of an orphaned child, building them a warm home. This act of responsibility beyond his years earned the volunteer team a ceremonial banner reading "Boundless Love" (大爱无疆) from Canshan Middle School — their most heartfelt token of appreciation.
